Two ways Loupa improves care

FOR CLINICIANS

Loupa GP Clinical Education

Short, case-based modules built by specialists around the decisions that matter in general practice: recognising the signals that change probability, urgency, investigation and referral. Approximately 20 minutes each, designed for New Zealand primary care.

FOR SPECIALISTS AND CLINICS

Loupa Patient Education

Clinically reviewed patient articles and QR-linked A5 handouts that extend the value of the specialist consultation, with clear preparation, recovery and safety-netting information patients can revisit at home..

Big Ideas, Why Loupa Impact.

Specialist-led, GP-refined

Built by specialists with current clinical experience, refined by feedback from general practice.

Concise and usable

Core modules of about 20 minutes. Only the detail that improves a clinical decision.

Every event we host is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.

Built around real decisions

Referral thresholds, investigation choices and safety-netting, not encyclopaedic summaries.

Clinically governed

Named authors, specialist and GP peer review, declared conflicts of interest, stated review dates.

New Zealand context

Local pathways, public and private access, equity and culturally safe care in Aotearoa.

Information patients keep

QR-linked articles patients can revisit before and after procedures, at home, on any device.

Where Loupa is today

The first gastroenterology and general surgery modules are in development on a dedicated learning platform, with RNZCGP recognition being pursued. Loupa patient education is already in use in surgical practice, with 24 articles and six QR-linked handouts across gallbladder, hernia, and lumps and bumps pathways. Expressions of interest are welcome.
